About
Design, type & lettering
I’m Claire, a French graphic designer, typographer and lettering artist located in Bath, UK. I specialise in lettering and typography projects, working via my independent design studio Coullon Johnson.
My focus is on logotypes, branding and hand lettering, and I work with clients all over the world on everything from personal projects to large corporate identities.
I also co-run the sustainable, design-led kids' stationery brand Odd Goose and I teach regular brush lettering workshops.
Born in Paris, I grew up in Europe and the Middle East before studying art and design for 4 years in the UK. I have since lived and worked/studied in Brussels, York, Prague, Paris, New York and now Bath. I have a BA (Hons) in Graphic Arts & Design and a Postgraduate Certificate in Typeface Design.
